Where a vessel is lined, we say so

Kansa, which is copper and tin melted together and sold in English as bronze or bell metal. It is denser than brass, harder to raise into a shape, and it darkens faster than either brass or copper.

The collection covers thali sets, katoris, serving bowls, platters and the wellness pieces. Tamarind pulp is the traditional cleaner and it works in about a minute; leave the metal alone instead and it settles to a dark patina. Nothing here is plated or lacquered. Weight in grams is on the page and it is how you tell kansa from brass at the same size, because kansa comes in heavier.
