Privacy Policy

This page says what we collect, why, and who else sees it. It is written to be read rather than to be legally exhaustive.

What we collect

When you order: your name, delivery address, email address, phone number, and what you bought. We need all of it to send you a parcel and to tell you where it is.

When you pay: nothing. Card and UPI details go straight to the payment provider and never reach us. We see whether a payment succeeded, not the numbers behind it.

When you browse: your device, browser, and which pages you looked at, collected by cookies. This is how we know which products people open and which they never find.

When you write to us: whatever is in your message, kept so we can answer it and refer back if you write again.

Why we hold it

To send your order and answer questions about it. To meet the tax and accounting records the law requires us to keep. To understand which parts of the shop work and which do not.

We do not sell your details to anyone. We do not pass them to anyone for their own marketing.

Who else handles it

Shopify runs this shop and stores the order and account data on our behalf.
Payment providers take the payment. They hold the card details; we do not.
Courier companies get your name, address and phone number, because a parcel cannot be delivered without them.

Each holds your details to do that job and nothing else.

Email from us

Order emails are sent because you bought something and they are part of the order. Anything else — a note about new pieces, for instance — only goes out if you asked for it, and every one of those carries an unsubscribe link that works.

Cookies

Some are needed for the shop to work at all, like remembering what is in your cart. Others tell us how the site is used. Your browser can block or delete either, though blocking the first set will break the cart.

How long we keep it

Order records stay as long as tax law requires. Everything else goes when it is no longer needed for the reason it was collected.

What you can ask for

Write to us and you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop emailing you. We will do it, except where a record has to be kept for tax. Email paramparapeetal@gmail.com.
