Shipping Policy
Where we ship from
Everything leaves from Guwahati, Assam. We ship across India.
How long it takes
| Assam and the nearby North East | 3 to 5 working days |
| The rest of India | 8 to 10 working days |
Those are working days from dispatch, not calendar days, and they do not count the day you order. Being in Guwahati puts us further from most of the country than a seller in Delhi or Mumbai, which is why the second number is what it is. We would rather print it than promise you three days and miss.
Weather in the North East, festival weeks and courier backlogs all stretch these. If your parcel is running past the window, write to us and we will chase it.
What shipping costs
Charges are calculated at checkout, before you pay, based on where the parcel is going and what it weighs. Brass and kansa are heavy — a thali set weighs more than a diya, and the courier prices it accordingly.
Getting it ready
Orders are packed within one to three working days. Each piece is checked before it goes in the box, which is where most of that time goes. Orders placed on a Sunday or a public holiday start the next working day.
Packing
Metal is heavy and it dents. Pieces are wrapped individually and packed with enough material around them to take a knock. Sets are wrapped piece by piece rather than boxed together.
Film yourself opening the parcel. Start before you cut the tape. If anything has been damaged in transit that video is the fastest way for us to replace it, and the refund policy explains why we ask.
Tracking
You get a tracking number by email when the parcel is handed to the courier.
If nobody is home
Couriers usually try three times before sending a parcel back to us. Give a phone number that will be answered during the day — most failed deliveries are an unanswered call rather than an absent customer.
