Thalis and full dinner sets in brass and in kansa. A thali is the plate the whole meal is served on, with katoris set into or beside it for dal, sabzi and curd.

Kansa sets ring when tapped and darken faster than brass; brass sets are softer and dull more slowly. Neither is lacquered, so both change colour in use and both come back with lemon and salt or tamarind.
