## Who you are buying from

By ordering, you accept what is on this page.
## Prices
All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. A tax invoice goes out with every order.
We can change a price at any time. The price you saw when you placed the order is the price you pay.
If something is listed at an obviously wrong price — a decimal in the wrong place — we can cancel the
order and refund you in full. We will write to you rather than let it go quiet.
## Orders
Your order is an offer. It is accepted when we dispatch it, not when the payment clears, and we can
decline one — if the piece has gone out of stock, if the address is one our courier does not reach,
or if we cannot verify the payment. You get a full refund if we do.
## What the product pages say
Weights are in grams and are as accurate as we can make them. These are hand-made pieces and they
vary; treat the figure as close, not exact.
Photographs are of the piece you are buying. Metal photographs unreliably, and the exact tone of
brass, kansa or copper on your screen will not be the tone in your hand.
Where a vessel has a tin lining we say so on its page. Where we have not said something about a
piece, it is because we do not know it, not because it is being held back.
## What we do not claim
We make no claims about health, Ayurveda, food safety, or any medical benefit of any metal. Nothing
on this store is a certification, a lab result or a test report unless the page says so and names
the body that issued it.
## Care
Unlacquered brass and copper darken as they are used. Cleaning, polishing and re-tinning are yours
to do.
## Returns
We take returns only on pieces that arrive damaged, wrong or incomplete. The refund policy sets out
the window and what to send us. Read it before you order.
## Your account
If you make an account, the password is yours to look after. Anything done through your account is
treated as done by you.
## What is ours
The photographs, the words, the drawings and the name on this site belong to
**Assam Rope Distributors**. Do not republish them without asking. The designs of the pieces
themselves are traditional and belong to nobody.
## Limits
We are responsible for the piece you bought and what you paid for it. We are not responsible for
loss of profit, or for anything that follows on indirectly from a delay or a fault. Nothing here
limits a right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
## If something goes wrong
Write to the grievance officer named in the privacy policy. We acknowledge within 48 hours and
resolve within one month.
## Law
These terms are governed by the law of India. Courts at **Guwahati, Assam** have jurisdiction.
## Changes
We can change these terms. The version on this page when you order is the version that applies.
