Where a vessel is lined, we say so

Hand hammered means the surface was worked with a hammer against a stake, leaving a field of facets rather than a smooth face. It stiffens thin metal and it catches light differently at every angle, which is why the same bowl looks like two objects depending on where it sits.

The marks are made one at a time, so their size and spacing move across a piece and between pieces. That is the technique working, not a flaw. Everything here is brass, kansa or copper, solid and unlacquered, and the page for each piece names the metal and prints the weight in grams.
